Fight Ready Program Phases

Phil Daru’s combat strength program is separated in 3 phases. Each Phases represent multiple goals to achieve in a certain amount of time(weeks).

I found it very interesting, on an education level, the way that Phil Daru and his team share their knowledge. They is no questions left on why the training is done in a certain way and how to perform the MMA strength program. The MMA training program have a good amount of videos that explain well different aspects of each phases: parameters, aerobic capacity, strength, hypertrophy… The different phases are arranged to make a perfect progression during a fight camp so you can get ready and peek for your fight. Everything is explained in multiple videos that represent overviews of what you are going to be doing during the training.

THE PROGRAM

When you are ready to begin, you access to the program page. There, you have 2 choices.

  1. Fighter’s program(Use this program if you’re prepping for an upcoming fight)
  2. Train like a fighter(Use this program if you’re not prepping for a fight)

The big difference between the Fighter’s program and the Train like a fighter program is that the fighter’s program includes Aerobic Capacity sessions like: running, swimming, sprints…

Exercise Database

Personally, I have printed the entire program and have separated it in 3 months. It really help because I can follow along the entire training with the exercise database to help.
